Question 1

What is Sora 2 and what can it do?

Accepted Answer

Sora 2 is OpenAI's flagship AI video generation model available on CRAISEE. It converts natural language text prompts or images into high-quality video clips featuring synchronized audio, advanced physics simulation, consistent multi-shot sequences, and diverse visual styles including photorealistic and cinematic aesthetics.

Question 2

Does Sora 2 generate audio along with video?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Sora 2 automatically generates synchronized audio including background soundscapes, dialogue, and sound effects precisely matched to on-screen action. It also supports accurate lip-sync for speaking characters, making it one of the few AI video models with fully integrated audio generation.

Question 3

When is Sora 2 being discontinued?

Accepted Answer

OpenAI has announced that Sora 2 will be discontinued on September 24, 2026. After that date, the API will no longer be available. Users with long-term projects should plan migrations in advance and explore alternative video generation models available on the CRAISEE platform.

Question 4

What visual styles can Sora 2 generate?

Accepted Answer

Sora 2 supports a wide range of visual styles without requiring style-specific fine-tuning. It can produce photorealistic footage, cinematic film-quality video, stylized animation, and anime aesthetics, making it versatile for filmmakers, marketers, content creators, and storytellers across different creative needs.

Question 5

Can Sora 2 animate static images?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Sora 2 supports image-to-video generation, allowing users to animate or extend static images into dynamic video clips. This feature is useful for bringing concept art, photographs, or illustrations to life with realistic motion and synchronized audio output.

Question 6

How does Sora 2 handle physics in video generation?

Accepted Answer

Sora 2 includes advanced physics simulation that understands and accurately renders real-world physical behaviors such as gravity, momentum, buoyancy, and object permanence. This results in natural, believable motion in generated videos, distinguishing it from earlier AI video models with less realistic movement.

Question 7

Who is Sora 2 best suited for?

Accepted Answer

Sora 2 is designed for filmmakers, content creators, marketers, and storytellers who need professional-grade video output without traditional production infrastructure. Its cinematic quality, narrative coherence, and audio synchronization make it ideal for short-form storytelling, advertising, and creative media production.

Question 8

What is the difference between Sora 2 and other AI video models?

Accepted Answer

Sora 2 stands out from other AI video models through its fully synchronized audio generation, multi-shot scene coherence, advanced physics simulation, and style versatility — all without fine-tuning. It maintains consistent characters and environments across shots, enabling cohesive short-form narratives that most competing models cannot reliably produce.
