Question 1

What is Ray Flash 2 720p and how does it differ from Ray 2?

Accepted Answer

Ray Flash 2 720p is Luma AI's speed-optimized video generation model that produces 720p videos at 5 or 9 seconds. It is faster and costs less than the full Ray 2 model while still delivering photorealistic detail, coherent motion, and cinematic composition — making it ideal for rapid iteration and high-volume production.

Question 2

What video lengths can Ray Flash 2 720p generate?

Accepted Answer

Ray Flash 2 720p supports two video durations: 5 seconds and 9 seconds. Users can choose the length based on their creative needs, whether for short social media clips or slightly longer cinematic sequences. Both durations are rendered at 720p resolution with full motion coherence.

Question 3

Does Ray Flash 2 720p support image-to-video generation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ray Flash 2 720p supports image-anchored video generation. You can provide a start image, an end image, or both to guide the visual direction of the generated video. This gives creators precise control over the opening and closing frames while the model fills in the motion between them.

Question 4

What aspect ratios does Ray Flash 2 720p support?

Accepted Answer

Ray Flash 2 720p supports seven aspect ratios: 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16, 16:9, 9:21, and 21:9. This covers a wide range of use cases including square social media posts, vertical portrait videos, standard widescreen, and ultra-wide cinematic formats, making it versatile for multiple platforms.

Question 5

How many camera control options does Ray Flash 2 720p offer?

Accepted Answer

Ray Flash 2 720p includes over 35 named cinematic camera concepts. These include dolly zoom, aerial drone, orbit, crane, and POV shots, among others. These controls allow creators to apply professional cinematography techniques directly through prompts without any manual camera rigging or post-production work.

Question 6

Can Ray Flash 2 720p create seamlessly looping videos?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ray Flash 2 720p includes a loop mode that makes the last frame of the video match the first frame, creating a seamless loop. This is particularly useful for ambient content, background videos, animated banners, and any use case where continuous playback without visible cuts is desired.

Question 7

What makes Ray Flash 2 720p suitable for high-volume video production?

Accepted Answer

Ray Flash 2 720p is optimized for speed and cost efficiency, generating 720p videos significantly faster and at lower cost than the full Ray 2 model. This makes it practical for creators who need to produce large quantities of videos quickly, such as for marketing campaigns, social content pipelines, or rapid creative prototyping on CRAISEE.

Question 8

What kinds of visual content can Ray Flash 2 720p realistically render?

Accepted Answer

Ray Flash 2 720p can render a wide range of visual content including physics-based simulations of liquids, particles, and atmospheric effects, as well as human expressions, character movement, macro-scale close-ups, and surrealist or abstract scenes. It handles both realistic and imaginative prompts with high fidelity at 720p resolution.
