# kling-v3-omni-video **Model ID:** `kwaivgi/kling-v3-omni-video` **Creator:** KwaiVGI **Provider:** Replicate via CRAISEE **Modalities:** Image · Video · Audio **Category:** Text-to-Video, Image-to-Video, Video Editing --- ## Overview Kling Video 3.0 Omni is a unified multimodal video generation model that creates and edits cinematic video from text prompts, images, reference visuals, and existing video clips — all within a single model architecture. Designed for creators who need consistent characters, controllable style, and professional-quality output, it produces videos up to 15 seconds at resolutions up to 1080p with native audio output. On CRAISEE, `kling-v3-omni-video` is the go-to model when a project demands versatility, visual consistency, and multi-modal control in one unified workflow. --- ## Key Capabilities - **Text-to-Video Generation** — Generate cinematic video clips directly from descriptive text prompts, with no image input required. - **Image-to-Video Animation** — Animate a still image into motion by providing a `start_image` (and optionally an `end_image`) alongside a motion-describing prompt. - **Reference-Based Character & Style Consistency** — Upload up to 7 reference images and cite them inline in your prompt using `<<>>` syntax to maintain consistent character appearance, costume, or scene style across shots. - **Video Editing via Text Instructions** — Supply an existing video as a `reference_video` with `video_reference_type` set to `base`, then describe your edits in natural language to modify the footage. - **Style & Camera Motion Transfer** — Use a reference video with `video_reference_type` set to `feature` to transfer camera movement, color grading, or visual style to newly generated content. - **Multi-Shot Control** — Use the `multi_prompt` parameter to script and control multiple distinct shots within a single generation, enabling narrative sequencing. - **Native Audio Output** — Unlike many video generation models, Kling 3.0 Omni outputs video with native audio, reducing the need for post-production audio layering. - **High-Resolution Output** — Generates video at up to 1080p, suitable for professional creative and commercial applications. - **Flexible Aspect Ratio** — Supports multiple aspect ratios to match platform-specific delivery requirements (vertical, horizontal, square). --- ## Best Use Cases `kling-v3-omni-video` is the definitive choice on CRAISEE when your project requires more than simple text-to-video generation. Choose this model when: - **You need character consistency across multiple scenes.** The reference image system allows you to lock in a character's face, outfit, or environment and reuse it reliably across shots — something single-modal models cannot do. - **You are editing existing footage with AI.** If you have a video clip that needs modifications — changed backgrounds, altered actions, or stylistic updates — this model's video editing mode handles it without requiring a full regeneration from scratch. - **You are producing short-form narrative content.** The multi-shot mode makes this model ideal for story-driven reels, product demos, and branded video sequences where scene-to-scene continuity matters. - **You want to match a specific visual or cinematic style.** By using a reference video in `feature` mode, you can replicate the camera language and aesthetic of existing footage or inspiration material. - **You need audio included in the output.** For creators who want a more complete deliverable without separate audio workflows, native audio output is a significant practical advantage. - **You are animating concept art or illustrations.** The image-to-video mode is particularly effective for bringing static artwork, character designs, or storyboard frames to life. > **When to consider alternatives:** If your task is purely simple text-to-video with no reference inputs and maximum speed is the priority, lighter models on CRAISEE may be faster. Kling 3.0 Omni's strength is in complex, multi-input, consistency-driven workflows. --- ## How to Use on CRAISEE Follow these steps to run `kling-v3-omni-video` on the CRAISEE platform: 1. **Navigate to the Model Page** Search for `kling-v3-omni-video` in the CRAISEE model library or browse the **Text-to-Video** category. Select the mode that matches your creative intent before configuring other inputs. 3. **Write Your Prompt** Enter your text prompt in the prompt field. Be descriptive about subject, action, environment, lighting, and mood. If using reference images, include inline citations such as `<<>>` and `<<>>` directly within your prompt text to activate reference-based generation. 4. **Upload Input Assets (If Applicable)** - For **image-to-video**: Upload your `start_image` and optionally an `end_image`. - For **reference-based generation**: Upload up to 7 reference images in the reference image slots. - For **video editing or style transfer**: Upload your `reference_video` and set the `video_reference_type` to either `base` (editing) or `feature` (style transfer). 5. **Configure Output Parameters** Set your preferred `aspect_ratio` (e.g., 16:9 for landscape, 9:16 for vertical/mobile, 1:1 for square). Adjust any additional parameters such as duration or multi-shot prompts as needed. 6. **Run the Model** Click **Generate** to submit your job. CRAISEE will queue and process your request via the Replicate provider. Generation time varies based on input complexity and output length. 7. **Review and Download** Once complete, preview your video directly in the CRAISEE interface. Download the output file or save it to your CRAISEE project library for further use. --- ## Input Parameters | Parameter | Type | Description | |---|---|---| | `mode` | String | Defines the generation mode (e.g., text-to-video, image-to-video, editing). Required. | | `prompt` | String | Text description of the desired video content. Supports `<<>>` reference syntax. | | `start_image` | Image | The first frame of the video for image-to-video animation. | | `end_image` | Image | The last frame of the video, used to guide motion direction in image-to-video mode. | | `reference_images` | Image Array | Up to 7 reference images for character, style, or scene consistency. Referenced in the prompt via `<<>>` through `<<>>`. | | `reference_video` | Video | An existing video used for editing (`base`) or style/camera transfer (`feature`). | | `video_reference_type` | String | Defines how the reference video is used. `base` = edit the video; `feature` = extract style or camera motion. | | `multi_prompt` | String/Array | Enables multi-shot control by providing separate prompts for distinct shots within one generation. | | `aspect_ratio` | String | Output video aspect ratio. Common values: `16:9`, `9:16`, `1:1`. | > **Note:** Not all parameters are required for every mode. Refer to the parameter visibility on the CRAISEE model interface, which surfaces only the inputs relevant to your selected mode. --- ## Tips & Best Practices **1. Be Explicit About Motion in Your Prompt** Kling 3.0 Omni responds well to motion language. Rather than describing a static scene, specify camera and subject movement: *"The camera slowly pushes in as she turns toward the window"* will produce more dynamic results than *"a woman near a window."* Treat your prompt like a brief shot direction, not a scene description. **2. Use Reference Images for Repeatable Characters** The single most powerful feature of this model is its reference image system. If you are building a series of clips featuring the same character, always upload a clean, well-lit reference image of that character and cite it in every prompt. This is the most reliable method for maintaining visual consistency across multiple generations on CRAISEE. **3. Combine `start_image` and `end_image` for Controlled Motion** When animating images, providing both a start and end frame gives the model a clear motion trajectory. This technique is especially effective for product reveals, character entrances, or scene transitions where you have a defined beginning and ending visual state. **4. Use `feature` Mode for Cinematic Style Matching** If you have a reference clip — a film scene, a branded video, or a previous generation you loved — use `video_reference_type: feature` to extract its visual DNA. This is one of the fastest ways to establish a consistent aesthetic across a multi-clip project without manually describing style in every prompt. **5. Script Multi-Shot Sequences with `multi_prompt`** For narrative content, do not rely on a single long prompt. Use the `multi_prompt` parameter to break your video into discrete shots with individual descriptions. This gives you granular control over pacing, action, and composition at the shot level — the equivalent of writing a proper shot list for the model. --- ## Comparison | Feature | kling-v3-omni-video | Typical Text-to-Video Models | Typical Image-to-Video Models | |---|---|---|---| | Text-to-Video | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ | | Image-to-Video | ✅ | ❌ | ✅ | | Reference Image Consistency | ✅ Up to 7 images | ❌ | Limited | | Video Editing (text-guided) | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ | | Style/Camera Transfer | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ | | Multi-Shot Control | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ | | Native Audio Output | ✅ | Rarely | Rarely | | Max Resolution | 1080p | Varies | Varies | | Max Duration | 15 seconds | Typically 4–8s | Typically 4–8s | **Strengths of kling-v3-omni-video:** Kling 3.0 Omni's defining advantage is consolidation. It replaces what would otherwise require three or four separate specialized models — a text-to-video model, an image animator, a style transfer tool, and a video editor — with a single unified system. For CRAISEE users working on projects that span multiple generation types, this eliminates workflow fragmentation and ensures visual consistency that is difficult to achieve when switching between models. **Considerations:** Because of its multimodal complexity, `kling-v3-omni-video` may have longer generation times compared to single-purpose lightweight models. For rapid iteration on simple text prompts with no reference inputs, a more focused model may return results faster. However, for any project where quality, consistency, and creative control are the priority, Kling 3.0 Omni is the most capable model in its class available on CRAISEE. --- *Model documentation maintained by the CRAISEE platform team.
